StepsApp: Step Counter Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 3, 2026
StepsApp is a step tracking and goal-setting app. Step data is stored locally on the device. Subscription purchases are processed by Apple. The app does not sell personal data.
Information We Store
StepsApp: Step Counter stores your tasks, lists, reminders, and settings locally on your device using an on-device database. StepsApp: Step Counter does not require an account and does not upload your task content to our servers.
Notifications
If you choose to use reminders, StepsApp: Step Counter asks for notification permission so your device can show local reminder notifications. Reminder content is scheduled on your device.
Backups, Export, and Import
StepsApp: Step Counter lets you export and import backup files. Backup files may contain your task, list, reminder, and settings data. You choose where to save or share those files, such as Files, AirDrop, email, or cloud storage.
Purchases and Subscriptions
StepsApp: Step Counter Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple and Google and may be managed with RevenueCat. RevenueCat may process purchase information, subscription status, product identifiers, transaction identifiers, app user identifiers, and device or app information needed to provide and restore Pro access.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use your task content for advertising.
- We do not track you across apps or websites.
- We do not read or upload your task content.
Third-Party Services
StepsApp: Step Counter may use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and platform app stores for in-app purchases. Their services may process purchase-related data under their own policies.
Deleting Your Data
Because StepsApp: Step Counter stores task data locally and does not create user accounts, deleting the app removes the local app data from your device. Export a backup first if you want to keep your tasks.
Children's Privacy
StepsApp: Step Counter is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Contact
For privacy questions, contact the developer through the support contact listed on StepsApp: Step Counter's app store listing.
