Aloud Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 11, 2026
Aloud stores your affirmations, selected photos, preferences, and recitation history locally on your device. Aloud does not upload your lines, photos, recordings, or transcripts to its own servers. Microphone access is used only while listening; your device’s speech provider may process audio online. Optional app blocking uses Apple’s Screen Time permissions. Apple and RevenueCat process purchase information to manage subscriptions. You can remove saved lines and photos within the app and revoke permissions in device settings.
Information We Store
Aloud stores your tasks, lists, reminders, and settings locally on your device using an on-device database. Aloud does not require an account and does not upload your task content to our servers.
Notifications
If you choose to use reminders, Aloud asks for notification permission so your device can show local reminder notifications. Reminder content is scheduled on your device.
Backups, Export, and Import
Aloud lets you export and import backup files. Backup files may contain your task, list, reminder, and settings data. You choose where to save or share those files, such as Files, AirDrop, email, or cloud storage.
Purchases and Subscriptions
Aloud Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple and Google and may be managed with RevenueCat. RevenueCat may process purchase information, subscription status, product identifiers, transaction identifiers, app user identifiers, and device or app information needed to provide and restore Pro access.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use your task content for advertising.
- We do not track you across apps or websites.
- We do not read or upload your task content.
Third-Party Services
Aloud may use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and platform app stores for in-app purchases. Their services may process purchase-related data under their own policies.
Deleting Your Data
Because Aloud stores task data locally and does not create user accounts, deleting the app removes the local app data from your device. Export a backup first if you want to keep your tasks.
Children's Privacy
Aloud is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
